Maintain preventive service order suggestions

The following describes how to add the details of a service object to a preventive service order suggestion, which you first manually create.

The system calculates the next service to be made for a service object based on the preventive service information for the service object. See Add preventive service information to a service object. There, the next inspection date and the frequency are defined for each preventive service type.

User intervention may be necessary sometimes; for instance, a quarterly and a yearly service for a service object may overlap. To avoid this, the preventive service order suggestion can be created and the overlapping service can be removed.

These instructions should be followed by Generate preventive service orders.

  1. Select the Work with preventive service order suggestions menu item.
  2. On the initial panel, click Add.
  3. An empty panel is displayed. Click OK to create the suggestion header.

Select the service order suggestion you have created, or any suggestion number to which you want to add an object and click Objects.
  5. You access Work with prev service order suggestions, Objects. The selected suggestion number is displayed in the header. (Note: Objects that already belong to the preventive service order suggestion are also displayed). Click Add to enter an object to the service order suggestion.
