This panel lists all the assets included in the account movement proposal. No changes can be made to the assets in the proposal. If there are errors, then you will have to change the rules and table values and create a new proposal for update.
Function keys
| Shift info | Switch between account movement types, i.e., acquisition movements and depreciation type movements. |
| Invalid Valid | Toggle between showing invalid and valid assets in the proposal. |
| Account change | Show the balance movements that will be created when updating the proposal. Click Account change to show the values before and after movement. |
Selection fields
The selection fields on this panel can be used separately or in combination with each other. If several fields exist on your panel, then the first field is always a positioning field.
The following selection types exist in tables, enquiries and files:
- Positioning
Used to display the sequential list, starting with the character or value that you have entered.
If only one positioning field exists on your panel, then it can be used in two ways. If you enter part of the value/code, the field will function as a positioning field. If you enter a complete value/code, the field will function as a direct access to that record.
Note: 'Work with' programs never give you a direct access. - Exact match
Used to narrow down the number of records in a list. Only records that are equal to the value you have entered will be displayed. - Search
Used to find a specific record in a list. Enter a search argument consisting of one or several characters. All records that hold the search argument that you have entered will be displayed.
Note: This selection type is primarily used for description-related fields (free text fields combining upper and lower case letters).
- Proposal
- Displays the proposal number of the proposal you are working with. The proposal number is retrieved from a number series defined in the ASM control file for depreciation proposals.
- Type
- Displays the proposal type, i.e. Work for a work proposal, or Update for an update proposal.
- Control
- If any account combination errors exist in the proposal, the word Error is displayed.

On this panel you can see account movements for the selected account movement type and asset. Click Shift info to see the next type.

- Proposal
- Displays the number of the proposal you are working with. The proposal number is retrieved from a number series defined in the ASM control file for depreciation proposals.
- Type
- Displays the proposal type, i.e. Work for a work proposal, or Update for an update proposal.
- Control
- If any account combination errors exist in the proposal, then the word Error is displayed.
- Asset type
- Displays the asset type of the selected asset.
- Asset group
- Displays the asset group of the selected asset.
- Asset account group
- Displays the asset account group of the selected asset.
- Asset number
- Displays the asset number of the selected asset.
- Asset seq number
- Displays the asset sequence number of the selected asset.
- Cost centre
- Displays the cost centre of the selected asset.
- Project
- Displays the project of the selected asset.
- Depreciation, AAAA
- The account movement details are shown per depreciation type.
- Last depr period
- Displays the last depreciated period for this asset and depreciation type.
- Acquisition value
- Displays the acquisition value of the asset.
- Non depreciable am
- Displays the non-depreciable amount of the asset.
- Residual value
- Displays the current residual value of the asset.
- Opening balance year
- Displays the opening balance the current year for the depreciations for the asset.
- Movement amount
- Displays the amount that will be moved from the old to the new accounts. It is the sum of the amounts for opening balance and depreciation YTD.
- Depreciation YTD
- Displays the total depreciation amount YTD for this asset.
- G/L transaction type text
- The transaction text is retrieved from Work with G/L transaction types. The text describes the type of transaction for each posting. Only balance account movements are included.
- New bal
- Displays the new account combination.
- Old
- Displays the old account combination.
- Acquisition account
- The account movement details are shown for the acquisition account.
- Acquisition value
- Displays the acquisition value of the asset.
- G/L transaction type text
- The transaction text is retrieved from Work with G/L transaction types. The text describes the type of transaction for each posting. Only balance account movements are included.
- New bal
- Displays the new account combination.
- Old
- Displays the old account combination.

This panel displays the account changes for the balance movements per depreciation type or acquisition.
- Proposal
- Displays the number of the proposal you are working with. The proposal number is retrieved from a number series defined in the ASM control file for depreciation proposals.
- Type
- Displays the proposal type, i.e. Work for a work proposal, or Update for an update proposal.
- New account
- Displays the new account combination.
- Old account
- Displays the old account combination.
- Transaction type
- Displays the transaction text from Work with G/L transaction types.
