This panel displays the analyses that were updated to an (interim) work file in the Demand variation list printout/update routine (Update in work file = YES).
Note: Auto adjust demand in the IC control file must be set to NO.
The system allows you to manually adjust unusually high or low demand to a level that reflects normal demand for item/warehouse combinations. The adjusted demand is used in calculating forecast for the next period.
In this program you are able to work with the calculated values for those item/warehouse combinations that you have selected to be included in the demand variation analysis before they are updated in the Item/Warehouse file. When you have made your changes, click Update to update the values.

Selection fields
- ID
- This column lists the ID codes of the demand variation analyses that were updated to a work file in the Demand variation list printout/update routine.
- Description
- This column lists the descriptions of the demand variation analyses.
- Remarks
- This column lists the remarks entered for the analysis report printouts.
Work with demand variation, Header details (INVD46504)
This panel displays the header details of the selected analysis as defined in the Demand variation list printout/update routine.
Function keys
- Demand variation ID
- Description
- Displays the description of the analysis. In Maintenance mode, the field can be changed.
- Remarks
- Displays the remarks entered for the analysis report printout. In Maintenance mode, the field can be changed.
Update criteria
In this section, the values/criteria that were used during the last analysis calculation of the demand variation values are displayed.
- Demand deviation
- Displays a value indicating the demand deviation percentage defined in the Demand variation list printout/update routine.
- Forecast period
- Displays the forecast period for which the demand deviation for items in this selection were evaluated during the analysis calculation.
