Work centre capacity maintenance, Capacity in decimal/minutes (BAS004M)

This program is used to maintain the work centre capacity that differs from the base calendar that is connected to the work centre. From this panel you can override the work centre parameters to calculate the day total capacity.

More information can be made available on the panel via the DC1 UI Client Edit columns feature. This feature also allows you to customize the panel to only show the information you want.

Note: This function is based on the generated work centre capacity file. The panel will display header information without capacity dates if the capacity has not been generated. If so, click Re-create capacity.

Selection fields

The selection fields on this panel can be used separately or in combination with each other. If several fields exist on your panel, then the first field is always a positioning field.

The following selection types exist in tables, enquiries and files:

  • Positioning
Used to display the sequential list, starting with the character or value that you have entered.

If only one positioning field exists on your panel, then it can be used in two ways. If you enter part of the value/code, the field will function as a positioning field. If you enter a complete value/code, the field will function as a direct access to that record.

Note: 'Work with' programs never give you a direct access.

  • Exact match
Used to narrow down the number of records in a list. Only records that are equal to the value you have entered will be displayed.

  • Search
Used to find a specific record in a list. Enter a search argument consisting of one or several characters. All records that hold the search argument that you have entered will be displayed.

Note: This selection type is primarily used for description-related fields (free text fields combining upper and lower case letters).
Work centre
The code and description that identify the work centre.
Workl planning type
The type of operation time that is included in the workload, either Run/labour or Machine. The information is retrieved from the Workl planning type field in the Work centre table.
Date
The date for the capacity.
Capacity
The gross capacity per resource. This information is retrieved from the calendar connected to the work centre.
New cap
The capacity that is divergent from the calendar. If blank, you can enter a new capacity. Note: You cannot set the new capacity if the MPL-TIME (Plan operation by date/time) function is activated in the Function control file, since the total capacity for the day time is set-up in the day format.
Chg until
The date indicates until when the entered work centre total capacity calculation parameters will be valid. After the entered date the parameters will be overridden by the normal work centre parameters.
Reduced
The amount of hours indicate with how much time the day capacity is planned to be reduced according to planned preventive service. Note: The reduced time is the planned service time related to the number of shifts.
Day cap
The gross capacity for the work centre for a specific date.
Net cap
The net capacity for the work centre (gross capacity reduced with efficiency factor) for a specific date.
Rstgr
The workload restriction group that is connected to the work centre date. If several restriction groups are connected to the same date, this field displays the first group followed by <+>. The restriction groups control if the date is valid for planning a specific product. Note: The restriction group can only be used for work centres defined as critical resources.
Scheme
The scheme used for capacity creation. This field is only displayed if the MPL-TIME (Plan operation by date/time) function is activated in the Function control file.
