The purpose of this program is to calculate the lead time for a group of selected items. The calculated lead time is based on information from the operations and work centres. Standard quantity PC is used in the calculation. When calculating operation times, capacity is retrieved from the Normal capacity field in the Work centre file. Note: Operations from fictive items are not included in the calculation.
The result of the calculation is a work file in which the lead times can be maintained before being updated in the Item warehouse file and Item file.
If the Whs in BOM field is set to NO in the MFG control file, only one record per item with the item’s main warehouse is created in the work file.

- Include items
- Indicates what items should be included in the calculation.
Code Description 1 Include all items. 2 Include the items that have a divergence between the old and new calculated lead time.
- Lead time calc
- Indicates how the lead time should be calculated.
Code Description 1 Only production lead time. The production lead time will be calculated using the operation list. 2 Calculate one level with critical components. The lead time will be calculated for one operation level and will be used for sales availability check. The sales availability check will look at the operation and on the components defined as critical (availability check 1 or 2). 3 Calculate all levels/Total lead time. The lead time will be calculated for all operation levels and will be used for sales availability check. The calculated total lead time is based on the production lead time for the structure leg (sub-assembly) with the highest lead time plus the production lead time for the highest level (parent item).
