Work with internal stock transactions (PLDD01501)

Note: Only applicable if you are running the Polish application.

Related topics

On this panel you add the lines (i.e., internal stock transactions) to the internal stock document.

The retrieval of the item’s cost value, (which is displayed as part of the details for the line, and accessed via the Display option from the Work with internal stock transactions, Lines panel), depends on the Transaction type (automatically retrieved into the Trans type field on the Header), that is connected to the internal stock transaction document type defined on the Header.

  • When Trans type = 1 (stock decrease)
The cost of the picked item will automatically be retrieved from FIFO / Average Cost / Standard Cost in the Item file. The transaction will be created; the stock will be updated; and the line will be added into the document. Everything will be done interactively in the background by the program.
  • When Trans type = 2 (stock increase)
The cost of the received item will automatically be retrieved from the Item file for Average cost and Standard cost. However, for FIFO costing, the unit cost price in system currency has to be entered. After entering the information on this panel, a separate panel will prompt where you enter cost price information.
After entering that information and clicking OK, the transaction will be created; the stock will be updated; and the line will be added into the document.

If the item entered on the line is under serial number control (i.e., the Serial number tracking field is set to the code for Always mandatory on the Item file maintenance, Inventory information panel), you will have to enter that information. After entering the information on this panel, you will access the Serial number entry panel where you complete the applicable information.

Function keys

Shift info Toggle to view different information for the lines.
Document
Displays the document type for the internal stock transaction and number. Before a line(s) is added to the document, the system automatically assigns a temporary document ID (i.e., TMP) along with a temporary numbering from the 333 number series that was set up in the Number series table. When a new line is added into the document, the Document type and Number will change to the proper document type / numbering as per the connected Document type for the document.
