  • PICK instructions are the initial instruction for shipments and movements.
  • PUT instructions are the final instructions for shipments and movements.
  • COUNT instructions are for counting items on stock take.
  • EMPTY PALLET instructions are used for picking empty pallets from different locations.

Scan/Enter the zone and location or the location alias for which the instruction is actually executed. Note: You can only scan/enter a location alias if Use location alias is YES on the Radio frequency information panel in Work with warehouses.

Depending on the type of instruction, the following applies:

Type Description
PICK For a PICK instruction, this is the location from which the item was picked.
PUT For a PUT instruction, this is the location where the item was put. Note: If you change the put location to a location in which a different item already exists, and the Multiple items field in Work with warehouse locations is NO, then you are not allowed to specify that warehouse location for the put instruction.
COUNT For a COUNT instruction, this is the location where the item was counted. Note: For PICK and PUT instructions, you cannot enter a zone/location defined in the Resource allocation table.
Pallet number
If Scan/Enter pallet number on the Radio frequency information panel in Work with warehouses is NO, then the suggested pallet number is defaulted from the instruction.
