| Start | Select this option to start the communication process. This will activate a batch job for the process acting as a communication server. |
| Stop | Select this option to stop the communication process. This will cause an end job request sent to the communication server job. |

Selection fields
- Process
- Displays the name of the communication process.
- Activation
- Displays the server job activation. This field controls if the communication process should automatically be started when entering the DC1 Time company, i.e., if anyone enters the company.
- Data queue IN
- Displays the name of the OS/400 data queue used for the physical communication between DC1 Time and a terminal. This data queue is used for receiving data (in the form of messages) from the terminal.
- Data queue library
- Displays the name of the OS/400 library containing the data queues.
- Comm. program
- Displays the name of the communication program, i.e., the program used to process the received terminal messages.
- Status
- Displays the communication status. Current status of the process:
- Active
- Inactive
