This panel is used to confirm locations and can be accessed from the following panels/programs:
- Sales order line maintenance
- Sales order structure maintenance
- Sales order batch entry
- Sales order copy
- Purchase order
- Purchase order batch entry
- Purchase order copy
- Serial number entry for received goods
- Confirm replenishment suggestions
- Confirm put away from bulk suggestions
- Issue/receive manufacturing order
This panel has two modes:
- In Put away mode, you confirm the zone/location in which the goods should reside.
- In Pick mode, you confirm the zone/locations from which the goods are taken out.
Function keys
Change zone/location | Make the Actual qty, Zn and Location fields in the middle of the panel input capable, enabling you to change this information for entered confirmation lines. |
Confirm | Confirm update. The quantity for the location(s) must equal the quantity on the order line, before update can be done. |
- Item
- Order
- Displays the purchase order number or the sales order number.
- Line
- Displays the line number of the purchase/sales order.
- Warehouse
- Displays the warehouse and the description of the warehouse with which you are working.
- Quantity
- Displays the quantity that you have entered on the sales order line or the purchase order line. This is the quantity that you confirm into which locations you put the goods or from which location you take the goods.
- Batch
- Only displayed if a batch controlled item was entered to access this panel.
- NCC no
- Only displayed if the following is true:
- The NCC-SELL function (NCC Selling) is activated in the Function control file. See About NCC selling for more information.
- The customer accepts NCC deliveries.
Displays the number of the Non-conformity certificate, entered for the sales order line during order entry, against which the reservation is made.
- Qty to add (sub)
- Displays the location quantity that must be added/subtracted for this item/warehouse combination. As you enter location lines, this quantity automatically decreases/increases. You cannot exit this program until the quantity in this field is zero (0).
Note: If the actual quantity for the line is in error and you want to correct it, enter zero (0) for the line. The value in this field will be adjusted to reflect the change.
- Line
- Displays the line number. The line number here is internally used within the DC1 Warehouse Management system.
- Seq
- Displays the internal sequence number for the line.
- Actual qty
- Displays the actual quantity for the zone/location that you have confirmed on the bottom line of the panel. In this field you always work with positive numbers, so even if you take out items from zone/location it still will be positive numbers. By clicking Change zone/location you will open up the field for input, where you are able to change what you previously entered.
- Zn
- Displays the confirmed zone, that you entered on the bottom line of the panel. Click Change zone/location to change it.
- Location
- Displays the confirmed location that you entered on the bottom line of the panel. Click Change zone/location to change it.
- Pallet no
- Only displayed when sales order pick list is confirmed. Displays the pallet number.
- Actual qty
- In this field (on the bottom line of the panel) you enter the quantity that is going to be confirmed. When you put goods into the warehouse the system will validate that this is a valid zone/location. For example, if you have an item in a certain location, you are not able to put another item in that location if the location is assigned to an item. If you take goods from warehouse zone/location, the system will validate so you have enough quantity in that zone/location before you do the confirmation.
- Zn
- Enter the zone to be used for the confirmation.
- Location
- Enter the location to be used for the confirmation.
- Pallet no
- Only displayed for pick confirmation and when sales order pick list is confirmed. Enter the pallet number for the suggested pallet to be picked.
