Create an inventory proposal

With the inventory routine you can generate an inventory proposal containing the assets that you want to record at this time.

  1. Select the Work with inventories menu item.
  2. On the Inventory – proposal overview panel, click Add to generate a new inventory proposal.
  3. You access Inventory – proposal creation. The following fields are relevant:

    Mandatory entry. Enter a description for the inventory proposal.

    Selection

    Complete the selection fields to include the assets in the inventory proposal. A record is only included if it fulfils all selection criteria.

    Last inventory date
    The system checks the entered date against the last inventory date for each asset in the Asset file, and includes those assets that have an inventory date less than the date entered in this field.
    Note: The inventory date is not displayed on any of the panels in the Asset file.
    Print inventory list
    Indicate if you want to print a control list. If you set this field to YES, you access Inventory – inventory list printout which must be completed.
    Note: If you do not want to print a control list now, you can do this later by ticking Print inventory list for the proposal on the Activity selection panel.

    Click OK. The system will display a message when the proposal is ready.
