You can create workload at the same time as you are creating MRP proposals. This is referred to as planned workload. For information about MRP calculation in general, see About material requirements planning (MRP).
- Select the Work with reports/jobs – MFG orders menu item.
- You access Work with batch jobs. Select MRP_RUN and click Submit job.
- You access Material requirements planning (MRP). Complete the following field:
- Create workload
- Indicate if planned workload should be created. If you set this field to NO, any existing planned workload will be deleted. If you set this field to YES, planned workload will be created and workload for all manufacturing orders will be re-created. For this example, set this field to YES.
Note: Simulation version should be blank.
See the Panel help for information about the remaining fields.
If capacity has been changed, workload will be created based on the new capacity but all dates on operations and order headers will remain unchanged.
Click OK. Exit the routine.
